Hilaire

Let me introduce you to Hilaire. It comes from “hilarare”, and means “joyful”. And he is! it is adorned with a raffia color, soft and warm which smells of summer and the color of wheat. The decorations are in the spirit of the time. This small art deco piece of furniture from the 20s and 30s comes from Hyères. It is made of solid wood veneered in walnut burl. It has been carefully cleaned, scraped, sanded, treated. The painted parts received an undercoat, 3 coats of color and matt varnished. The parts left in wood were treated and given a hard base and a protective varnish. All products are bio-sourced. The art-deco designs are made by hand.

Wood: Simple wood veneered in walnut burl

Dimensions: H 61 – W 63 – D 31 cm

Painting and finishing: Satinelle Raffia Eléonore Déco – Glazier 1919 by Mauler (wood part) - Liberon matte varnish (painted part)

Raoul and Blaise

Here are Raoul and Blaise, bedside tables from the 1940s, in veneered oak, beech interior. You will appreciate their diamond veneer door, highlighted in a linen-colored covering. Certain small defects linked to their great age and the manufacturing method of the time have been preserved but in no way change their quality and functionality, on the contrary, this is what gives the charm of renovated furniture.

Dimensions: height: 55 cm - bottom 62 cm Depth: 32 cm Width: 37.5 cm - bottom 40 cm

Linen color finish from Id déco (bio-sourced paint) and Libéron matte varnish

Like all my furniture, they have received the greatest care in compliance with renovation rules.

Pierre

I present to you PIERRE. This first name of Greek origin means "Pebble". Well this little piece of furniture from the 60s could be your little pebble to place at the end of a sofa, in an entrance or at the bedside. It comes straight from a recycling center where I saw it under a pile of statuettes! It is made of solid blond oak and veneer. It has been completely renovated, including the inside of its niche and the drawer. I only dressed it with the bare essentials, no more, no less, its wood is enough in itself. Its compass feet and its deep drawer give it a crazy charm!

Dimensions: L40 D40 H65

Light beige finish from Envie (bio-sourced paint) and varnish

Like all my furniture, they have been the subject of the greatest care in compliance with the renovation rules.
